ABOUT THE AUTHOR

M.A. DuVernet was born Mindy Ann Vollmer in Duluth, Minnesota and was raised in Minnetonka. As a single mom, she raised her two daughters in Prior Lake and graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1991. She makes her home in St. Paul and has three grandchildren. This is her first novel.
